The constituency of Bohemia 43 was a constituency for the elections to the House of Representatives in the Austrian Crown Land of Bohemia . The electoral district was created in 1907 with the introduction of the Reichsrat election regulations and existed until the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy .

history

After the Reichsrat had decided on the general, equal, secret and direct male suffrage in autumn 1906, the major reform of the electoral law through the sanctioning of Emperor Franz Joseph I came into effect on January 26, 1907 . With the new Reichsrat election order, a total of 516 electoral districts were created, with one member being elected in each constituency with the exception of Galicia in the course of the Reichsrat election. The MP had to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency of Bohemia 43 comprised the judicial districts Nachod , Neustadt an der Mettau , Opočno , with the exception of the following municipalities:

• from the judicial district of Neustadt an der Mettau the town of the same name Neustadt an der Mettau ( constituency 24 ) and the communities Deschney , Gießhübel , Plaßnitz , Polom , Sattel and Trtschkadorf ( constituency 128 )
• from the judicial district Opočno the town of the same name Opočno , the municipality Dobruska (both constituency 24 ) and the municipality Lom ( constituency 128 )
• from the judicial district of the same name Nachod City Nachod and the community Rothkosteletz and Hronow (all constituency 23 )

The national Catholic František Chaloupka emerged victorious from the 1907 Reichsrat election . In the 1911 Reichsrat election , the Bohemian agrarian Antonín Rydlo prevailed.
