Walter Fehrmann (administrative lawyer)

Friedrich Walter Fehrmann (born August 28, 1886 in Hamburg , † January 21, 1963 in Mainz ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer, lawyer and district administrator .

Life

Fehrmann began as a court trainee in 1908 and became a court assessor in 1914. In the First World War from 1914 to 1918 he worked as a judge-martial in the field and then at the commandant's court in Danzig . In 1919 he became probationary legal adviser with the Liegnitz government and from 1920 worked as a government assessor in the police headquarters in Magdeburg and then with the chief president in East Prussia . From 1921 Fehrmann acted as district administrator in the Belgard district (Persante) , Pomerania province . From 1922 he was a member of the government in Königsberg (Prussia) , Magdeburg and then Merseburg . From 1924 he worked as a senior councilor in the Ministry of the Interior and was close to the DDP. In 1925 Fehrmann officiated as Vice President of the government in Merseburg and in 1929 i. e. R. shifted. Subsequently, Fehrmann was a lawyer in Merseburg, but was appointed Vice President of the Oberpräsident in Magdeburg on October 4, 1932, and in 1936 a. D. offset. Fehrmann was also general director of the city fire society in the province of Saxony and head of the regional association in the Volksbund for Germanness abroad .
