Wolf Friedrich von Kleist-Retzow

Wolf Friedrich Erdmann Ferdinand Graf von Kleist-Retzow (born October 6, 1868 in Groß-Tychow ; † July 8, 1933 there ) was a large German landowner and district administrator .

Life

Wolf Friedrich von Kleist -Retzow studied law and cameralia at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen . In 1888 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After completing his studies, he completed the government traineeship with the Köslin government . From 1898 to 1911 he was District Administrator of the district Belgard . In 1911 he retired from civil service. He was a member of the Pomeranian Provincial Parliament from 1901 to 1930 , since the election via party lists for the DNVP , which was introduced in 1921 .

Von Kleist-Retzow was the owner of Fideikommisse Groß-Tychow (3235 hectares), Alt Buckow (1289 hectares) and Möthlow (846 hectares). He was hereditary kitchen master in the Duchy of Western Pomerania , legal knight of the Order of St. John and reserve officer in the 2nd Pomeranian Uhlan Regiment No. 9 . He took part in the First World War as Rittmeister of the Reserve, most recently in the civil administration in Romania. He was married to Maria Louise von Wrochem.
