Friedrich Wilhelm von Winterfeld (* around 1720 ; † February 14, 1787 in Collatz ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1770 until his death he was in charge of the Belgard district in Western Pomerania .

He came from the very noble Winterfeld family . His father Levin Ernst von Winterfeld (* 1695, † 1734) was a Prussian major and owned no goods; his mother Elisabeth Charlotte was born from the east († 1727).

Winterfeld served in the Prussian Army from an early age . He joined the Ansbach-Bayreuth Dragoon Regiment and fought in the Battle of Hohenfriedberg and the Battle of Leuthen . In 1758 he took his leave as captain . In 1763 he bought the goods Wusterbarth B, Lasbeck B and Lankow A from Philipp Ferdinand von Wolde , which had previously belonged to District Administrator Caspar von Wolde .

In 1770 Winterfeld was elected as the successor of Caspar Friedrich von Ramel to the district administrator of the Belgard district , more precisely the combined Belgard-Polzin district. Winterfeld did not take the required examination until 1773, but had been in office since 1770. As district administrator, he had his seat on his estate Wuserbarth. In 1779 Winterfeld belonged to a four-member delegation of the Pomeranian nobility with the spokesman Heinrich Adrian Graf von Borcke , who discussed the establishment of a landscape credit institute for Pomerania with King Frederick the Great ; this was founded as the Pomeranian Landscape in 1781. Winterfeld held the office of district administrator until his death in 1787, followed by Otto Bogislaw von Kleist .

Friedrich Wilhelm von Winterfeld was married to Louise Christine, born von Eickstedt . The daughter Eva (1760–1792) emerged from the marriage and married a von Manteuffel . Winterfeld's goods went to his grandchildren.
