Caspar Friedrich von Ramel , also von Rahmel (* May 22, 1727 , † December 5, 1795 ) was a Prussian district administrator . From 1763 to 1770 he was in charge of the Belgard district in Western Pomerania .

He came from the noble Pomeranian family von Ramel . His father Ernst Alexander von Ramel (* 1698; † 1741) was the heir to Bulgrin in the Belgard district and held the hereditary honorary position of hereditary kitchen master of Western Pomerania; his mother was Anna Maria von Kleist (* 1704). He had three younger brothers and a sister who was also younger.

From around 1740 he served in the Prussian Army , where he was last captain in an infantry regiment. He said goodbye for health reasons .

In 1763 he succeeded Ernst Friedrich von Podewils as district administrator of the Belgard district . However, he was removed from office by King Friedrich II in 1770 because, as a district administrator, he had incorrectly accounted for hail damage. Friedrich Wilhelm von Winterfeld succeeded him in office .

After the death of his father, Caspar Friedrich von Ramel inherited a share in the Bulgrin manor , the so-called Niederhof, a share in the Ritzerow estate and the title of hereditary kitchen master of Western Pomerania. In 1764, in exchange for his share in Ritzerow, he acquired his share in Bulgrin from his younger brother Henning Christian von Ramel. Caspar Friedrich von Ramel then owned all of Bulgrin until he sold it to Johann Joachim Gneomar von Kleist in 1773. With the sale of Bulgrin, he also lost the title of hereditary chef. As early as 1766 he had acquired the Rabuhn estate in the Fürstenthum district , which he owned until his death.

Caspar Friedrich von Ramel was married to Ernestine Sophie Amalie von der Goltz (1723–1792) for the first time in 1771 . The son Georg Alexander von Ramel emerged from the marriage. As a widower, he entered into a second marriage with Louise Christiane, born von Maltzahn (* 1738; † 1814). He left no heirs and with his death in 1795 the von Ramel family in Pomerania should have died out; only the Swedish baronial line of the family flourishes to this day.
