Walther Kuhla

Walther Kuhla (* 26. August 1907 in Landsberg on the Warta River , † after 1944) was a Prussian administrative officer and district administrator of the district of Aachen .

Life and career

Born as the son of a city inspector in the Prussian province of Brandenburg , Walther Kuhla initially completed a commercial training from 1926 to 1929 after graduating from school. From 1929 to 1934 he followed this with a law degree in Berlin and Marburg . There he also received his doctorate in 1934 with the thesis: Ownership of claims for Dr. jur. In the same year Kuhla passed the first law exam. And in 1938 the Grand State Examination with subsequent appointment as assessor . Kuhla entered the Prussian administrative service. In 1941 he was sent to the Aachen government as a councilor and from there in 1943 to the Aachen district office. In the course of 1944, after the death of District Administrator Erwin Classen (February 8, 1944), he acted as head of this office. Walther Kuhla had been married since 1938.
