Franz Delheid
Franz Delheid (born October 19, 1912 in Eilendorf ; † January 5, 1986 in Würselen ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).
Life and work
After attending elementary school and business school , he completed a commercial training and from 1937 worked in an iron wholesaler. After further activities as a buyer and sales representative as well as military service, he was an independent businessman until his death .
He was married and had five children.

He was a member of the district council of the Aachen district from October 28, 1956 until the regional reform on December 31, 1971. Member of the city council of the city of Aachen was Delheid from 1972 until 1975th
Public offices
From March 19, 1961 to September 26, 1964 he was district administrator of the former district of Aachen.
He was active in numerous committees of the district council of North Rhine-Westphalia .
Others
On July 5, 1979, he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon. He was also since February 6, 1973 bearer of the papal order Knight of the New Year's Eve .
In Aachen, Franz-Delheid-Strasse was named after him.
