During a weekend visit to his hometown, Marko, who lives in Berlin, experiences a family falling apart. His depressed mother Gitte announces that she has stopped taking medication after many years. His younger brother Jakob and his father Günter react very skeptically and drive their mother into despair.

Awards

The film was given the rating of particularly valuable by the German Film and Media Assessment (FBW) . In 2012 he received the main prize Der Fliegende Ochse at the film art festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern . For his role in the film was Lars Eidinger with the price of the German Film Critics Award in 2012 for best actor.
