The von Weber family , also von Wäber (partly with the addition of Acher ), is a Swiss nobility of mail , which was mainly based in Schwyz , Brunnen and Arth . Alois Werner Graf von Weber was founded in 1787 by Pope Pius VI. in the papal count conditions raised . Dominik Benedikt von Weber was raised to the Russian and Polish nobility.

The peasant family can be traced back to the progenitor Nikolaus , who was involved in the distribution of the Arther soil in 1354. The family held various offices in politics, the military and the church until the 20th century. The family is Roman Catholic . In Schwyz, the Webers sat in Palais Weber , Herrengasse 42, in the vicinity of the parish church of St. Martin and on the Acherhof . There were also lines in Palais Kyd (also called Palais Kapellmatt ), Herrengasse 56 in Schwyz, Palais Friedberg , Herrengasse 44 in Schwyz, from Rössli in Schwyz, from Adler in Brunnen, the Schlosser-Weber lines from Weidhuob, the six houses in Schwyz owned and the Seiler-Weber in Brunnen.

There are no known family ties to the families of the same name in the March district and in Höfen .
