action

Camille's time as a busy actress is long gone. Her family life fell apart through work and she left her husband Adrian, who has custody of her two children - ten-year-old Vincent and four-year-old Gaëlle. She only sees them every other weekend. The relationship with the children is also distant because they lived with their father in the United States for some time without Camille's consent. Now we have another weekend together with the children, but Camille's agent has found her a moderation job at a party at the Rotary Club in Vichy . Since Camille depends on the commitment, she goes to Vichy with her children. Adrian finds out about this and announces that he will pick up both children on the evening of the event. Camille rushed to leave with the children while the event was still going on.

She drives the children to the sea, where she tries to have a carefree time and get closer to her children. It is increasingly evident that she is overwhelmed with the supervision of both children. At first she hardly manages to respond to the children, but she soon realizes that the withdrawn Vincent is interested in astronomy . He knows that in a few days a meteor shower will fall on Earth. Camille thinks that it must be visible on a plain somewhere in the south and accepts Spain as a possible area. In front of the children she pretends to have spoken to Adrian. He will be waiting for her in Perpignan on Wednesday . The three are being held by the police on the road to Perpignan, since Camille had driven the route from Vichy in a rental car that should have been returned long ago.

You are allowed to continue the journey to Montpellier , but should then contact Paris, where they are already looking for Camille. In Montpellier, Camille Vincent confesses that she lied to him. She had set the meeting with Adrian in Perpignan so that she could be with her children longer. Vincent runs away, but returns to Camille a little later. She travels on with the children. She meets with her brother, who knows that Adrian is looking for her, but gives her and the children his car to continue their journey. Camille now wants to go to Spain with Vincent and Gaëlle and, above all, to visit the plain for Vincent on which she suspects the meteor shower is about to fall. The small family arrives in Spain, but Vincent soon has enough and wants to go home. On the day of the suspected meteor rain, Adrian appears at the hotel in Spain. He followed Camille and the children, but doesn't blame his ex-wife. He believes the last five days could possibly be an opportunity for their relationship. However, Camille makes it clear to him that the separation is final, especially since she has realized that she could not cope with living together with the children in the long term. Adrian is disappointed, but leaves with both children without anger. Camille stays longer in Spain. In the evening she goes alone on the plain and finally sees the beginning of the meteor shower.
