Church and Anger

The Church and the Anger

The Protestant parish church of Weidenhausen has a Gothic western part with a late Gothic western portal from 1522. Around 1740 the church was rebuilt and in 1743 a half-timbered tower was added. In front of the church there are some gravestones from the 18th and 19th centuries. Because of its artistic, structural and historical importance, the area is a protected cultural monument . The green in front of the churchyard is a walled place. A 100-year-old linden tree stands on the former court , which was declared a natural monument in 1936 .
