Wendover is a city in the US state of Utah with 1,537 inhabitants ( 2000 census ), located in the western United States on the state border between the states of Nevada and Utah. The Nevada part of the place is the city of West Wendover . From Wendover airport you can reach the military airfield " Salt Lake City  Municipal 2" and the international airport Salt Lake City after 93 nm (nautical miles; 172 km) in flight direction east .

The state of Nevada also distributes its gaming revenue to the communities.
