Werner Schotte

Werner Schotte (born October 24, 1835 in Korbach , † June 26, 1910 in Ballenstedt ) was an administrative lawyer and district administrator.

Life

Schotte was born the son of the pastor and later superintendent Hermann Schotte and his wife Luise nee Waldeck. After graduating from the Korbach grammar school in 1853, Werner Scholte studied law and cameralia at the universities of Jena , Erlangen and Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Teutonia Jena fraternity in 1853/54 and of the Germania Erlangen fraternity in 1854 . With the princely government in Arolsen he passed the first exam on May 19, 1857. In October 1860 he passed the second exam and in June 1857 was hired as an accessist (assessor) in the princely Waldeck government. On December 3, 1861, he was employed as a district rent master in Arolsen. After being appointed district secretary of the Eder district on September 7, 1865, he moved to the Eisenberg district in April 1866 and was appointed district administrator three years later.

On September 20, 1873 he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the Beckum District Office. On November 25, 1875 (without prior election) the definitive appointment as district administrator of the Beckum district was . On January 23, 1880 - after his transfer request - he was entrusted with the municipal administration of the Schleusingen district office and on June 21, 1880 he was definitively transferred as district administrator of the Schleusingen district . In 1892 he became a secret councilor and retired in 1900. He moved to Ballenstedt.

From 1871 to 1874 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of Eisenberg .
