Viktar Paula Petrovich Kaszjutschonak ( Belarusian Віктар Паўлавіч Касцючонак , Russian Виктор Павлович Костюченок * / Viktor Pavlovich Kostjutschenok 7. June 1979 in Minsk , Byelorussian SSR ) is a former Belarusian ice hockey player and current coach, who in the Continental Hockey League for Amur Khabarovsk , HK Dinamo Minsk , Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg and HK Spartak Moscow was active. He also played for his hometown club HK Junost Minsk for many years .

Career

Wiktar Kaszjutschonak began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at HK Junost Minsk , for whose professional team he was active from 1995 to 2000 in the East European Hockey League and the Belarusian Extra League . With his team he was Belarus runner-up in the 1998/99 season. After he had started the 2000/01 season at Junost Minsk, the defender moved to Germany to Deggendorfer SC in the Oberliga Süd and from there to HK Keramin Minsk from the Extraliga. From 2000 to 2003 he played at Brest Albatros Hockey in the French Division 2 and in the 2002/03 season in the Ligue Magnus , the country's top division. In the following three years the national player was again on the ice for HK Junost Minsk, with whom he won the national championship three times in a row in 2004, 2005 and 2006 . In the 2003/04 season he even achieved the double of championship and cup with his team.

For the 2006/07 season Kaszjutschonak received a contract with HK Lada Tolyatti from the Russian Super League , but played again the following year for Junost Minsk, with whom he was runner-up in Belarus for the second time. For the 2008/09 season , the Belarusian was committed by Amur Khabarovsk from the newly founded Continental Hockey League . There he started the 2009/10 season before moving to Amur's league rivals HK Spartak Moscow in October after 18 games .

Kaszjutschonak spent the 2010/11 season in his home country at HK Dinamo Minsk before he was signed by Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in July 2011 . In July 2012, the current contract with Awtomobilist was dissolved and Kaszjutschonak returned to his hometown club Junost. There he ended his career in 2014 and became a junior coach at MHK Junost .

Between 2015 and 2017 he was an assistant coach at HK Saryarka Karaganda , then for a year as an assistant coach at Spartak Moscow.

International

For Belarus Kaszjutschonak took part in the junior division in the Junior C World Championship in 1997 and the U20 Junior A World Championship in 1999 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the 2002 B World Championships and the 2006 , 2007 , 2008 , 2009 , 2010 and 2011 A World Championships . In addition, the defender ran at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and qualifying for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin .
