Wildseefilz Nature Reserve (April 2012)

The Wildseefilz nature reserve is located in the Weilheim-Schongau district in Upper Bavaria in the area of ​​the Wildsteig municipality .

The 49.25 hectare area with the number NSG-00029.01, which was placed under nature protection in 1940 , extends southeast of the core village of Wildsteig. The Ammer flows to the east with the 42.7 ha large NSG Ammerschlucht in the Scheibum area and runs along the B 23 , while the 10.9 ha large NSG Gerstenfilz extends to the southwest . The Wildsee lies in the area . The northeast of the area is drained through the Wildgraben to the Ammer.
