Willy Semmelrogge

Willy Semmelrogge (born March 15, 1923 in Berlin , † April 10, 1984 in West Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

Born in Berlin, he began his stage career in Weimar after the Second World War . After his time as artistic director in Erfurt , he came to film through DEFA in 1954.

In 1955 he moved to the Federal Republic and played mainly in television games. From 1974 he became known at the side of Hansjörg Felmy in the crime scene and investigated in twenty episodes as Heinz Haferkamp's assistant Willi Kreutzer in Essen and the surrounding area. Semmelrogge had already played Inspector Stegemann in the series Der Nachtkurier reports ... in the mid-1960s . In 1974 he stood for Werner Herzog's Kaspar Hauser film The Enigma of Kaspar Hauser in the role of ringmaster in front of the camera, in 1979 he played in the film adaptation of Georg Büchner's Woyzeck the misanthropic doctor Woyzeck misused as guinea pigs. In the Vorstadtkrokodile Semmelrogge was seen in 1977 as owner of the mini-golf course. He also appeared regularly in the crime series Der Kommissar , Derrick and Der Alte .

Willy Semmelrogge died of fish poisoning and is buried in the cemetery in the Swabian Bad Boll in the Eckwälden district. He is the father of the actors Martin Semmelrogge and Joachim Bernhard and the grandfather of the actors Dustin and Joanna Semmelrogge .
