William Mang
William Mang (born May 17, 1954 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor .
Life
From 1974 to 1977 William Mang trained as an actor with Ute Hagen and Horton Food at HB Studio New York. In 1978 he passed the stage maturity test in Austria before the joint commission of the stage union. Mang lived and worked in Rome for three years and in various cities in Germany for 15 years . Since the 1980s he has appeared in numerous German and Austrian television series and television films, and several times in feature films. From 2006 to 2009 he played the role of "Stefan Thalbach" in the telenovela Tessa - Life for Love . As a stage actor, William Mang worked at the Wiener Schauspielhaus , the Berlin Schiller Theater , the Theater in der Josefstadt and the Theater Drachengasse . For example, he played at the Berlin Schillertheater in Figaro in 2002 and 2003 under the direction of Luc Bondy . His preoccupation with the Austrian poets Georg Trakl and Thomas Bernhard resulted in two CDs published by Preiser Records : Von Sinnen - A Trakl Project by William Mang (2007) and Thomas Bernhard: Die Mütze (2011).
Mang lives in Vienna and Berlin .
