Winter Festival (Wolhusen)
The winter festival is a festival that takes place annually on a weekend in spring (February / March) in Wolhusen (canton Lucerne) and is organized by the “ComeBäck” cultural association. National and international rock and pop greats play on Friday and Saturday evenings, while Saturday afternoons are reserved for the next generation (school bands and the like) and there is a matinee on Sunday.
The festival has a long history: Singer and songwriter greats like Ralph McTell stopped in Wolhusen in the 1970s, where the festival was still treated as an alternative culture.
