Career

Vitaly Lyutkevich began his career as a hockey player in the youth department of HK Dynamo Moscow , for whose second team he made his debut in the Vysschaya League , the second Russian division, in the 1998/99 season . Then the defender spent one season each in the Super League at HK Avangard Omsk and Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , before moving to the second division HK Sibir Novosibirsk during the 2001/02 season, with whom he achieved promotion to the Super League in the playoffs. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian left the club and returned to his ex-club Dynamo Moscow, where he was unable to assert himself and was only on the ice for the second team of the capital city in the third-rate Pervaya League apart from four appearances in the super league .

From 2003 to 2005 Lyutkewytsch played for Olimpija Kirowo-Chepetsk , HK MWD Tver and Neftjanik Leninogorsk in the Vysschaya League. Then he took the HK Keramin Minsk under contract with whom he won the Belarusian championship in the 2007/08 season . He was also runner-up with the team in 2007 and was elected to the second All-Star Team of the Extraliga in the 2005/06 season . After a season at HK Sokol Kiev from his Ukrainian homeland, who competed in the Russian Wysschaja Liga, the left-handed shooter signed for the 2009/10 season with HK Dinamo Minsk , for which he made a template in 20 games in the Continental Hockey League . At the same time he was runner-up in Belarus with Minsk's farm team HK Shakhtsor Salihorsk . In May 2010 he first signed a contract with the newly founded KHL participant HK Budiwelnik Kiev. After he could not start playing in the KHL due to delays in the stadium renovation, the Ukrainian stayed in Belarus at HK Shazjor Salihorsk.

For the 2011/12 season Lyutkewytisch returned to his Ukrainian homeland and signed a contract with HK Donbass Donetsk from the Vysschaja Hockey League . The following season he played for the Donbass second team in the Ukrainian PHL . In 2013 the second team was disbanded. Since then, Lyutkewytsch has played in the Vysschaya Hockey League at Molot-Prikamje Perm .
