The Wochenspiegel (originally Lübecker Wochenspiegel ) is a German advertising paper that appears in parts of Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

The weekly mirror from the Baltic Verlag GmbH, based in Luebeck published. In addition to the Wochenspiegel, the publisher also publishes the advertising paper Schaufenster Plön with its editorial office in Plön . The Ostsee Verlag and the editorial staff of the Wochenspiegel are located in the publishing house of the Lübecker Nachrichten GmbH in Lübeck-Buntekuh . The publishing house is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lübecker Nachrichten GmbH and a member of the Federal Association of German Advertising Papers .
history
The advertising paper has been published since 1979, initially under the name Lübecker Wochenspiegel . In 1979 the circulation was 120,000 copies, the advertising paper appeared once a week in the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, in Bad Schwartau and Stockelsdorf .
The name was later shortened to Wochenspiegel and the distribution area increased. In 1993 the Stormarn edition appeared for the first time with a circulation of 30,000 copies. The distribution area includes the Hanseatic city of Lübeck and parts of the Ostholstein district and the Stormarn district , as well as a small part of the Duchy of Lauenburg and the north-west Mecklenburg district .
In 2003, Wochenspiegel was relaunched . In the first quarter of 2010 the Wochenspiegel had an ADA -approved print run of 152,682 copies.
Jeanette Nentwig's successor as editor-in-chief was Sabine Goris in 2010.

The Wochenspiegel appears with the editions Lübeck Süd-West (including Groß Sarau ), Lübeck Nord-Ost (including Herrnburg and Lüdersdorf ), Lübeck Bay (with Ratekau in the south and Süsel in the north) and Bad Schwartau / Stockelsdorf including Ahrensbök . The editions appear on Wednesdays, and since February 2007 also on Saturdays in Lübeck and Bad Schwartau / Stockelsdorf. In addition to the print edition , the weekly mirror appears as an e-paper . Since 2009 , reader reporters have been able to publish their own articles on the meinwochenspiegel.de website , some of which are included in the print edition.
