The residential building at Hohenbuckoer Straße 4 is a listed building ensemble in the Proßmarke district in the Hohenbucko community in the Rochauer Heide in the Elbe-Elster district in southern Brandenburg . It is listed as a local monument in the local monument register under the registration number 09135734.

Building description and history

The residential building in a four-sided courtyard , which characterizes the street scene in this area, was built from 1934 to 1935 by the carpenter Max Esser. The building is an eaves-standing, two-storey house with a gable roof. The facade of the building facing the street is characterized by a risalit crowned by a gable . The entrance to the courtyard can also be found at this point.

The so-called moving house is located in the left half of the building. The former young farmer's apartment can be found on the right. The former servants' chambers are in the attic.

Another attraction of the place include the local village church , the Hohenbuckoer village church with the rectory and, as further monuments in Hohenbucko the hole mill , a former United farmstead in the village street 44 and a Postmeilensäule and the forester .
