Wolfgang Bathke (* 1944 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Bathke made his first acting experiences as a child. As a nine-year-old he played an errand boy at the Berlin State Opera . He then completed a two-year training course as an electrician from 1965 ; During this time he worked as a cabaret artist in the cabaret "Die Pillen". From 1967 to 1970 he attended the Ernst Busch drama school in Berlin-Schöneweide . He had his first theater engagement in the 1971/1972 season at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater in Zittau . From 1973 (until 1979) he worked as a freelance actor in the GDR . He played Karl Moor in Die Räuber and President von Walter in Kabale und Liebe on GDR stages .

He came to West Berlin as part of a family reunification . He played theater and appeared in cabaret , including programs for the Berlin cabaret Die Stachelschweine .
