Wolfgang Jäger (musician)
Wolfgang Jäger (born March 28, 1953 in Herne , † May 3, 2007 in Hagen ), called Hunter, was a German musician . He played bass with Grobschnitt , The Stripes and Extrabreit .
biography
Wolfgang Jäger was born in Herne in 1953; the family later moved to Hagen. Jäger learned to be an electrician and to play the guitar in the late 1960s , but later switched to the bass. In 1975 he became a member of Grobschnitt and belonged to the group until 1979. He was then for a short time a member of Nena's band The Stripes, from where he switched to Extrabreit.
After he had to leave Extrabreit for health reasons, he worked on various projects; however, he was no longer involved in the publication of a phonogram by a record company . He died on May 3, 2007 after a long illness, but surprisingly, in Hagen.
