Wolfgang Nickel (glass artist)
Wolfgang Nickel (born November 11, 1960 in Schmalkalden ) is a German glass artist, painter and graphic artist.
Life
Nickel studied painting / graphics at the Burg Giebichenstein Halle University of Art and Design . In 1987 he graduated with a diploma. The artist lives and works in Thuringia. He is a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists and the Association of Visual Artists Thuringia.

Nickel's activities include building-related arts, lead glazing, sandblasting and glass etching. He makes glass objects such as glass plates or glass pictures, but also church inventory such as altars, tabernacles, ambo, chairs and candlesticks. Since 1992 he has designed glass windows for over 35 churches, hospitals and other public institutions.
