World Team Challenge 2006

The 5th World Team Challenge 2006 (officially: VELTINS-Biathlon-WTC 06 ) was a biathlon competition that took place on December 30, 2006 in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen .

It was won by the Norwegian team Ole Einar Bjørndalen and Linda Grubben . Defending champion Norway won the event for the fourth time and it was Bjørndalen's fourth victory, each with a different partner.

A total of 12 teams from five nations took part. Most of the teams were provided by the German team with a total of six teams.
