World Team Challenge 2017

The 16th World Team Challenge 2017 (officially: Joka Classic Biathlon World Team Challenge at Schalke 2017 ) was a biathlon competition that took place on December 28, 2017 in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen in front of more than 45,000 spectators.

The competition again consisted of a combination of mass start and pursuit races.

Attendees

10 teams with athletes from 10 countries started. Japan and Belgium made their debut. Michael Rösch, who starts for Belgium, had already taken part in the World Team Challenge several times for Germany.
