Xia Tianxiang ( Chinese  夏 田 翔 , Pinyin Xià Tiánxiáng ; born September 11, 1993 ) is a Chinese ice hockey player who was last under contract with KRS Heilongjiang in the Wysschaja Hockey League .

Career

Xia Tianxiang began his career as an ice hockey player with the amateur team from Qiqihar , for which he made his debut in the Chinese league at the age of 16 and with which he won the national championship in 2010. He then moved to Harbin , where he was also able to become Chinese master in 2011. In 2012 he moved to China Dragon . For the only Chinese professional hockey team, he was on the ice for two years in the multinational Asia League Ice Hockey . In 2014, he returned to the Harbin amateur team. When Kunlun Red Star , a Chinese team, was accepted into the Continental Hockey League for the first time in 2016 , he was one of the few Chinese players to join their squad. After a year he moved to the newly founded farm team of Kunlun Red Star, KRS Heilongjiang , in the Wysschaja Hockey League . There he only came to three missions.

International

For China, Xia Tianxiang took part in the junior division of the U18 World Cup in Division III in 2010 and Division II in 2011 , when he was voted the best player of his team, and in the U20 World Cup in Division III in 2012 and 2013 , when he was behind Bulgarian Ivan Khodulov was the second best goalscorer and scorer of the tournament and thus contributed significantly to the rise of the Chinese into Division II. In 2011 and 2013 he acted as team captain of the Chinese selection. He also represented his colors in 2012 at the U20 tournament of the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia .

The attacker played with the men's national team at the World Championships of Division II in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 . He also represented his colors in the Olympic qualification for the Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 and at the Winter Asian Games 2017 .
