Yıldırım Uran (born October 6, 1955 in Ankara , † January 21, 2019 in Izmir ) was a Turkish football coach .
Coaching career
Uran began his coaching career in 1987 at Izmirspor . He then coached a number of clubs in the Aegean region .
From the summer of 1999 he worked for the second division side Siirt Jetpaspor . After the head coach had to resign at the end of the season, Uran took over the team as head coach and reached with her the runner-up in the second division season 1999/2000 and thus promotion to the 1st league .
After rising with Siirt Jetpaspor, he left this club and coached a number of teams in the lower Turkish professional leagues.
From summer 2008 to May 2018 he accompanied his former player Hamza Hamzaoğlu as an assistant coach at all of his coaching stations. From spring 2011 to summer 2014 he worked with Hamzaoğlu at Akhisar Belediyespor . At the beginning of December 2014, Hamzaoğlu became head coach at Galatasaray Istanbul , Uran again acted as assistant coach at his side.
