Yanick Brecher (born May 25, 1993 ) is a Swiss football goalkeeper who is under contract with FC Zurich in the Super League .

Career

Yanick Brecher started his career at FC Männedorf. It was there that FC Zurich noticed him. He went through all stations of the FCZ Academy up to the 2011/12 season, in which he was then accepted into the squad of the first team. He was number two behind David Da Costa until the 2014/15 season . In order to gain match practice, he was loaned to FC Wil for one season . On April 1, 2015, he was brought back to FC Zurich immediately and has been the team's first goalkeeper since then. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season he was temporarily replaced by Andris Vaņins .
