Pa Modou Jagne (born December 26, 1989 in Gambia ) is a Gambian football player .
Career
Pa Modou Jagne began his active career in his home country with Ports Authority FC . During the 2007/08 season, Jagne joined FC Wil , with whom he was active in the second highest Swiss division, the Challenge League . Since January 2009 he has been playing for the Swiss club FC St. Gallen in the position of an attacking midfielder who is often used on the left wing. Jagne was on loan from St. Gallen until the end of the 2009/10 season. As early as February 2010, the club exercised the option to purchase the midfield player and provided him with a contract that ran until the end of June 2012.
In the summer of 2013, Jagne moved to FC Sion on a free transfer .
National team
At the Junior Soccer World Cup in 2007 he was a member of the Gambian team that was able to qualify for this tournament for the first time. He also worked for the Gambian national soccer team during qualification for the 2010 soccer world championship ; He experienced his baptism of fire in the national team jersey in June 2008 in the game against Algeria .
