Yannick Drews (born July 30, 1997 in Regensburg ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract as a striker with the Ravensburg Towerstars in the DEL2 since 2019 .

Career

Yannick Drews began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of EV Regensburg , for which he was active in the school league as well as in the youth league from 2009 to 2012. With the youth Bundesliga team he won the German youth championship in the 2011/12 season, which meant that EV Regensburg took part in the German youth league . For the 2012/13 season he moved to the school league team of the Mannheim ERC. In the 2013/14 and 2014/15 seasons he played for the young eagles Mannheim in the German junior league, with which he won the DNL championship.

For the 2015/16 season, the junior international moved back to his home club EV Regensburg in the Oberliga-Süd. After two seasons in the Oberliga Süd, he moved one league higher to the Bayreuth Tigers in the DEL2 for the 2017/18 season .

In the 2018/19 season Drews played for the Tölzer Löwen in the DEL2 . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the Ravensburg Towerstars .
