From 2005 to 2007 he played in the school league for the junior division of the Schwenninger Wild Wings . For the 2007/08 season he moved to the Iserlohner EC , which is responsible for the Iserlohn Roosters junior team . In this season he was able to win the German championship with the youth team , which also meant promotion from the Bundesliga to the German junior league . But during the DNL premiere season 2008/09, the Iserlohner EC was one of the teams at the bottom of the table. After the team had not occupied a relegation place for a long time, they were ultimately overtaken by the Krefelder EV , so that in the end the sporting descent was recorded. The class could only be held because the EV Füssen did not move up.
In the 2009/10 season , Langmann was the third goalkeeper in the Iserlohn Roosters squad from the German Ice Hockey League for the first time . After sitting on the bench as a back-up at a few games , Langmann finally made his DEL debut on January 19, 2010 in the home game against the Hannover Scorpions . He came on for Sebastian Stefaniszin in the last third and was able to fend off 14 of 15 shots. At 18 years and 30 days he became the youngest ever used Roosters goalkeeper. With the Königsborner JEC he was able to reach the championship round in the regional league and played a total of 30 games for the Bulldogs . After the season he did a trial training with the U20 juniors from the Czech club HC Sparta Prague . On May 24, Langmann flew to the USA to prepare for a training camp for the Lincoln Stars from the United States Hockey League , but later returned to Europe and was signed by the Hanover Indians . He also received a game license for their farm team, the Hanover Braves .
After Travis Scott had left the Hannover Scorpions, Langmann received another license to play as the third goalkeeper of the Scorpions. On October 12, 2010, Langmann made his debut for the Hannover Scorpions in the DEL.
After a two-year stint with the Hannover Scorpions , he returned to the Hannover Indians in 2012, where he held the goalkeeping position alongside Peter Holmgren .
From May 2013 he was under contract with the Hamburg Freezers and initially played under a license for the Fischtown Pinguins Bremerhaven in the DEL2 , with which he won the DEL2 championship in 2014. From 2014 he was a permanent member of the Fischtown Pinguins squad and convinced with good performances and statistics. Therefore, in 2016 he was signed by the Ravensburg Towerstars as a regular goalkeeper.
After winning the DEL2 championship in April 2019 with the Towerstars and being awarded the title of Playoff MVP , Langmann was signed by the Nürnberg Ice Tigers from the German Ice Hockey League .
