Yasuko Miyazaki ( Japanese 宮 崎 康 子 , Miyazaki Yasuko ; born June 7, 1977 in Tokyo ) is a former Japanese triathlete .

Career

In 1996 Yasuko Miyazaki started triathlon training and in 2002 she switched from short to long distance.

In 2011 she was second in the middle distance at Ironman 70.3 Korea (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running).

In September 2014 she finished tenth at the Triathlon World Championship on the long distance.

Winner Ultraman Hawaii 2014

In December 2014, the then 37-year-old won the Ultraman Hawaii (10 km swimming, 421 km cycling and 84 km running) after she had already finished third here in 2012.

Yasuko Miyazaki has been married since March 2013, she has a son and lives in Saitama .

It has not appeared internationally since 2014.
