In the lyrics, the protagonists assure the audience that they understand their feelings and that they are not alone. They also ask them to celebrate with them. The song begins with a spoken intro. Rapper Eric Singleton then raps the stanzas, while the chorus is kept in the classic modern-talking scheme with Thomas Anders ' vocals and high repetitions.

The single was released on February 1, 1999 on Hansa Records . In addition to the 3:23 minute video version, it also contained the 3:41 minute radio edit, the 4:55 minute extended version and the 4:32 minute remix. There was also a “space mix” of Modern Talking's greatest hits.
The song reached number seven in the German single charts , number five in Austria and number twelve in Switzerland . The song also reached high chart positions in other European countries, eighth in Finland , fourth in Norway , 15th in Sweden , 13th in France and fifth in Spain .
The single was awarded a gold record in 1999 for more than 250,000 copies sold.
