Združena levica

Združena levica ( Slovenian for: United Left ; abbreviated: ZL ) is an electoral alliance made up of three parties in the run-up to the European elections in Slovenia in 2014 . In the European elections on May 25, 2014, the electoral alliance failed to make it into the European Parliament with 5.5% of the vote .

In the parliamentary elections on July 13, 2014, the Združena levica succeeded with 6.0% of the votes of moving into the Parliament , it is represented with six deputies. The electoral alliance had its strongholds in the electoral districts 3/7 (Ljubljana Center, 12.6%) and 6/10 (Trbovlje, 12.1%).

The founding of the electoral alliance took place on March 1, 2014 in Ljubljana . According to the European Left , whose Vice-President Alexis Tsipras gave a speech at the inaugural meeting, 500 people attended the meeting.

On June 24, 2017, IDS and TRS united to form the Levica (Left) party.
