The European elections in Slovenia in 2014 took place on May 25, 2014. It was carried out as part of the EU- wide European elections in 2014 . It was the first choice after the Treaty of Lisbon, which strengthened the rights of the European Parliament and reorganized the distribution of seats among the EU member states. Slovenia has 8 of the 751 seats in the European Parliament .
