Zenit is the seventh solo album by the Austrian rapper RAF Camora . It was released on November 1, 2019 via his own label Indipendenza as a standard edition and box set, including two bonus songs and a snippet from the Zenit RR album .

production

Except for the song Meteorit , which was produced by Beataura, the album was produced entirely by the music production teams The Cratez and The Royals (15 songs). RAF Camora himself co-produced ten tracks. The producers Lucry , Beataura, Syrix and Irie Vibrations were also involved in individual songs .

Cover design

The album cover refers to RAF Camora's lyrics in which he often mentions ravens . It shows a raven made of white lines, which flies over the earth in dark space. In the upper part of the picture is the title Zenit , which is also made up of white lines. At the bottom right of the picture is the white lettering RAF Camora , written from bottom to top.

Guest Posts

In addition to RAF Camora, other artists are represented on four songs on the album. His long-time collaboration partner Bonez MC made guest appearances in the songs Changed and Unnormal . The German rapper and singer Gallo Nerø can be heard on Cinema , while RAF Camora works with the French rap group Ghetto Phénomène on Puta Madre .

Robin Schmidt from the website laut.de rated Zenit with four out of a possible five points. RAF Camora is “a brilliant producer and musician and has a feel for the right vibe at the right time.” Musically, the album is “partly based on the sound of days gone by,” whereby the rapper “digs deep into his own past.” The producers too would have "created melodic, driving instrumentals that usually go forward."
