Zhaire Smith (born June 4, 1999 ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA .

career

After the game year 2016/17 Smith on average 20.1 points, 6.6 rebounds and three templates in the basket shirt Lakeview Centennial High School in Texas Garland had scored, he stood in the season 2017/18 for the team of Texas Tech University on the playing field. With 11.3 points per game, Smith was the team's second-best scorer, and five rebounds and 1.8 assists per match were noted for him. His total of 417 points was a record: no Texas Tech player had scored so many points in his first year before him. He made a name for himself, among other things, with his spectacular hoops and his extraordinary jumping ability. After just one season in college basketball, Smith turned his back on Texas Tech University and ventured into the professional world.

In  the NBA draft process  in June 2018, Smith was called up in the first selection round in 16th place by the Phoenix Suns , who gave him over  to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Mikal Bridges  .
