Zlatko Muhović (born November 8, 1990 in Kragujevac , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian football coach with a B license and a former professional footballer.

Career

Player career

Muhović's parents fled to Cologne in 1992 because of the Bosnian War , where Zlatko Muhovic joined 1. FC Cologne in the F-youth . He later moved to Bonner SC before playing for VfL Leverkusen and Alemannia Aachen in the U-19 Bundesliga between 2007 and 2009 . Already from 2008 Muhovic played for the second men's team from Alemannia Aachen in the NRW League . He scored eight goals in 40 NRW league games. In summer 2010 he moved to the second team of FC Schalke 04 in the hope of getting a place in the first team's squad. This did not succeed Muhović, so that after two years he moved to the regional division SC Wiedenbrück 2000 . There he scored eight goals and 12 assists in 34 games in the 2012/13 season. After the season he moved to the third division Prussia Münster.

Muhović made his professional debut on July 27, 2013, when he came on as a substitute for Matthew Taylor in the 90th minute of the away game against RB Leipzig (2-2) . However, there was only one additional assignment for Prussia Münster. In January 2014, Muhović moved to league rivals SSV Jahn Regensburg , where he played 26 games in the third division. Then he joined the Berlin regional league team BFC Dynamo . After two years in the capital, Muhović returned to East Westphalia and moved to SC Verl in 2017 , before returning to SC Wiedenbrück a year later . There, his contract was terminated in January 2019 because the club was planning without him. Muhović then went to league rivals 1. FC Kaan-Marienborn from Siegen for the second half of the 2018/19 season , who had to be relegated to Oberliga Westfalen after the season as fourth from bottom of the final table .

Coaching career

For the 2019/20 season , Muhović began his coaching career as the new assistant coach of the regional division SC Fortuna Köln . There he works again under coach Thomas Stratos , whom he knows from the joint third division season 2013/2014 at SSV Jahn Regensburg : Muhović was still a player at the time, Stratos was already a coach.
