Zlatoje Martinov
Zlatoje Martinov ( Serbian Cyrillic : Златоје Мартинов; born December 16, 1953 in Pančevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian publicist and writer .
Life
Martinov studied economics at the University of Belgrade . Nebojša Popov's long-time assistant was his successor as director of the Res Publica cooperative and, since 2010, the last editor-in-chief of Republika magazine . His articles, reviews and essays have also been published in other magazines such as Sveske ( Serbian : notebooks), Krovovi (Serbian: roofs) and the German-speaking Vojvodina window . From 1994 to 2002 he was director of the Documentation Center of Vojvodina Germans ( Centar za dokumentaciju o vojvođanskim Nemcima ) and promoted the cultural and political dialogue between the Serbian majority and the German minority. As Serbian representative, he took part in the Danube Swabian symposia ARDI ( AR Arbeitsgemeinschaft DIalog ) in Vienna in 2000 and 2003 .
He has been interested in Esperanto culture for decades and is a member of the Esperanto PEN Center in La Chaux-de-Fonds . In 2015 he was appointed editor-in-chief of the Esperanto magazine Literatura Foiro . Martinov has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Home House in Sremski Karlovci since 2017 . He lives in Belgrade .
