The High Road is the second album from American pop/R&B singer JoJo. It was released on October 17, 2006 in the United States. It debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard 200 behind Diddy's Press Play and Evanescence's The Open Door, selling 108,000 copies in its first week of release. The album debuted at number twelve on the Canadian Albums Chart and was certified gold by the CRIA in January 2007 for selling in excess of 50,000 copies. Album sales dropped off 70% in its second week. In the UK, the album reached a peak of number twenty-four on the chart; as of May 22, 2007, it is certified silver, with sales of 65,799. The album was certified gold by the RIAA in December 2006.[2] As of March 2007, it had sold 538,000 copies in the U.S.[3]

On September 20, 2006, fans were able to buy from the iTunes Store snippets of three of JoJo's songs from the album. The songs were:
