'Zioncheck for President is the abbreviated title of the memoir 'Zioncheck for President: A True Story of Idealism and Madness in American Politics'. It was written by Phil Campbell and published by Nation Books in 2005. It follows the story of Campbell, who agrees to manage the city council campaign of his friend Grant Cogswell, a progressive activist and anti-globalist protester. A comedic subplot in the book involves Campbell’s increasing political problems with his housemates.

The titular character in Zioncheck for President is Marion Zioncheck, a radical Seattle Congressman from the 1930s who killed himself after realizing that he cannot change the world. The book, according to The Chicago Reader, is a “mordantly funny account of the erosion of Campbell’s youthful ideals.” Sam Lipsyte, author of Home Land, calls Zioncheck for President, calls Zioncheck “a wild and tender campaign memoir that reads like a deadpan comic novel.”

The film rights to Zioncheck were sold in 2007 to producer/director Stephen Gyllenhaal.

Zioncheck for President was praised by The Boston Globe, the Chicago Reader, The Stranger, The Seattle Times, and The Memphis Flyer, as well as by websites like Bookslut and The Huffington Post.

Watatani Kiyoshi Watatani Kiyoshi was born in Wakayama City in Meiji 36 (1904). A descendant of a gunnery instructor (Yoshikawa-ryu hojoutsu) of the Kishu domain, his father was a minister. After his father's death, he was sent to live with relatives, first in Awajijima and then in Kobe, where he was adopted by the Watatani family.

When in middle school he studied Ryugo Ryu Kenjutsu (of the style transmitted in Takino Domain)

He graduated from Waseda University and was a member of the Bungeika Kyokai. He has written and edited more than forty books in a variety of fields, including history, historical novels, interpreting, geography of Edo, research (methods?), as well as twenty-five books on the history of martial arts and traditions.

Watatani Kiyoshi was a close friend of Takamatsu, the teacher of Hatsumi of the Bujinkan.[

The buttosphere is the second highest layer of the Earth's atmosphere (before the ionosphere.) The buttosphere originally developed as a collection of methane gas created when Paul Bunyan ate the largest pot of chili ever concieved, and farted a mighty, hearty, wet fart. The methane released from this epic fart floated into the atmosphere and created the buttosphere.

Darcy Olsen is the President and CEO of the Goldwater Institute, a free market limited government think tank in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to her executive position at Goldwater, Darcy served as the Director for Education and Child Policy at the Cato Institute in Washington D.C. Early in her career she managed a halfway house for the Coalition for the Homeless in Washington D.C.

She has published numerous articles and columns in newspapers across the country, such as the National Review, USA Today and the Washington Times, and has appeared on local and national television shows such as NBC's "Today Show," public television's "NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," the "CBS Evening News with Dan Rather," NBC's "Nightly News," CNN's Inside Politics, Fox News Channel's "O'Reilly Factor" ABC's "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher," and CBS's "The Early Show."

The Missionaries of Charity Fathers are a clerical religious, founded by Mother Teresa of Calcutta in 19984. It is an institute of diocesan right, and its members bind themselves to Christ and to the service of the Catholic church by the profession of the three classic religious vows of Chastity, Poverty, and Obedience, and besides them, a fourth fow of Wholehearted and Free Service to the Poorest of the Poor.

This community is committed to carrying on the Charism of Mother Teresa within the ministerial catholic priesthood, exercised in the service of the poor as privileged bearers of the mystery of Jesus' presence and passion in the world today.

Blitz Team Parkour is located 3 hours south of Sydney in the Nowra-Ulladulla Shoalhaven region. There are currently 3 members in the team the original creators of this team from the 20th of March 2007 Chris "Blitz" Goddard and Roy "Orion" Trimarchi also two other traceurs did join on the 16th of April 2007 called Matt "Rapidite" Braine and Warwick "Aray" Hughes but they decided to start practicing another sport called Tricking and left the team on the 3rd of July 2007 to make a new Tricking team. A week after that a Beggining Traceur called Jeremy "Nave" Bexton joined the team and went to his first jam with them on the 10th of July 2007.

Stratuspeer (Cid Stephen Andeza, Ronel Taruc, Edward Espinosa and Christian Atienza) was formed way back 1994. These four were classmates and decided to form a band during the Eraserheads hype era. They used a lot of names before coming up with Stratuspeer such as Unknown, Live Wire, Speedoflight, etc.

They just currently released an album (titled Stratuspeer) and is now currently receiving a lot of positive hysteria. They are now planning to follow the footsteps of their mentor (as for music writing inspiration - Eraserheads) to put a stop on pop junk (songs from Cueshet, Shakol, etc.). We wish you luck Stratuspeer and may you have more birthdays to come.

Riverlore Mansion is an elegant white French Second Empire Style Mansion that is located in Cairo’s residential section of 28th and Washington Avenues. This was once known as Millionaire’s Row.

This beautiful 11-room brick mansion was built in 1865 by Captain Williman Parker Halliday. The mansion has only had four owners and is now owned by The City of Cairo.

The mansion is located on ¾ of an acre which is beautifully landscaped with gorgeous flowers and a 100 years old Gingko tree.

Filfel Gourgy was born at the beginning of the 1930s in Baghdad, Iraq, and died in 1983 in the courtyard of his home in Israel.

In the course of his life he managed to leave his imprint on Iraqi music, proving beyond all doubt that he was one of the great standard bearers of the modern revolution which took place in the field.

He was born in Baghdad in “Suq al-Hanoon” to a prosperous family of merchants. While still a child, he became known among those close to him as possessing a rare poetic ability and the voice of an angel.

As a youngster, he was taken in hand by Hassan Habka, a Muslim Iraqi singer. His classical and musical Muslim education bestowed on him the privilege of reading the Koran to millions of Arab viewers, on the eve of Ramadan, on Israel Television. On 1950, due to the undermining of the harmonious relations which had existed between Jews and Muslims in Iraq and the “Farhood pogroms”, Gourgy was no longer able to conceal his Jewish identity, hitherto kept secret. He was smuggled into Iran in the dead of night. Thus manifestations of hostility effectively cut short the young musician’s career in Iraq. After spending some six months in Iran, he immigrated to Israel. In no time at all he became famous, gaining a following among Jews from Iraq. His name also became known among the Muslims in Iraq and Jordan who listened to the Voice of Israel in Arabic.

Filfel Gourgy wrote the words and composed the melody for most of his songs, the majority of them universal songs, in both literary and spoken Arabic, even updating ancient folk songs.

Without a doubt, Filfel Gourgy occupies a place in the pantheon of Arab song and music, as an outstanding artist: his exceptional vocal talent and musical achievements assure him of an undisputed position among the greats. To this day, Filfel Gourgy is considered as one of the inheritors of the Arab classical singers such as Farid el Atrash, Umm Kulthum and Muhammad Abed el Waheb.

Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express (Hindi:-मध्य प्रदेश सम्पर्क क्रान्ति एक्सप्रेस), is a one of the important trains among Sampark Kranti Express Trains introduced in the 2005AD Indian Railway Budget. The train is announced between Jabalpur, an Indian city in the state of Madhya Pradesh to National Capital of India, New Delhi. This train presently terminates at Hazrat Nizamuddin a suburb near New Delhi which is located 8kms approximately to south of New Delhi.

A Tri-weekly Super Fast train runs between Jabalpur and Hazrat Nizamuddin and Jabalpur via Katni Junction and Gwalior. The train plies with out any stop through Uttar Pradesh with Rajasthan(a small portion at Daulpur) and Haryana before reaching or arriving to Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Brief about Jabalpur

History of Jabalpur dates back to epic Ramayana(रामायण) period. Sage Jabali also known as Satyakama Jabali(Devanagari:-सत्यकाम जाबालि) who lived around this region and hence the name is Jabalpur or City of Jabali. Other story goes that the word Jabalpur is based on a Arabic and sanskrit mix which indicates the city of hillocks. Jabal in Arabic means hill or hillocks and evedently Jabalpur is surrounded by many small hills around. Also some graves of Arabs found here.

During the Great epic Mahabharat(महाभारत), Jabalpur was under Tripuri Kingdom and the town was known as Tripuri.

Jabalpur is known as Cultural Capital of Madhya Pradesh situated on the bank of river Narmada in a magnificent landscape. One bench of High Court of Madhya Pradesh is based at Jabalpur while the other bench is in Indore City, known as Financial Capital or Industrial Capital of Madhya Pradesh situated in Malwa [[Plateau] on the West of Bhopal.

Also Jabalpur high court served for Indian States of Orissa, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh while Nagpur was the capital of then Madhya Pradesh known as Central Province of British India.

Those who attended the recent Tawag ng tanghalan-USA 2006 Talent competition at the Los Angeles Convention Center held on October 1, 2006, surely remember the exceptional performance of Eleven-year-old Lianna Gutierrez, who won the championship trophy besting eleven other contestants who were much older than she is. Another feather to her cap is her winning the 2006 Pop Star Kid champion title from GMA. Her most recent award was the child performer of the year given by Gawad Amerika during a celebration held at the celebrity center International in Hollywood on November 18, 2006.

Very talented and extremely confident on stage, one would think Lianna has been performing for many years. Not so. Although she has already started singing when she was only three years old, it was only last year when she decided to take formal voice class and singing lessons to polish her style.

Under the adept coaching styles of Sharon T., young Lianna immediately blossomed into the talented performer that she is. Her first stage performance was in the "Mothers Day - A gift of love" concert by te Aldeguer sisters performing arts center (ASPAC) held in Baldwin Park Performing arts center in May 8, 2005. Since then, she has appeared in various shows, concerts, and community events.

Lianna Credits her parents Francis & Aleli Gutierrez and her vocal coach Sharon T. for her achievements and looks up to them as her role models and the people who influence her endeavors.

Chong Lit Cheong

Chong Lit Cheong is the Chief Executive Officer of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore. IE Singapore was formerly known as the Singapore Trade Development Board, and is an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore. The aim of IE Singapore is to assist Singapore companies to grow globally.

Chong Lit Cheong was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) Singapore. He was also formerly the Managing Director of A*Star Singapore (formerly known as National Science and Technology Board, Singapore).

Chong Lit Cheong was a Colombo Plan Scholar who graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) Degree from the University of Tokyo in 1980.

National Preservation is the countrys fastest growing internet forum. Our aim as a not for profit company is to raise awareness of the heritage railways and galas. we do this by encouraging people to register at the forum and highlight there railways aims.

My name is Glyn and I am Admin within the National Preservation world. Let me walk you through our site. We have over 1500 Registered active members and links to various Heritage mags. hundreds of our members are volunteers on Heritage railways. people from all walks of life volunteer at heritage railways and infact any heritage concern you will find volunteers.

We started up on the 10th march 2005, and grew from day one. we are labled woth the ICRA to protect against any potentially harmful material.

The Company will host a community online at www.national-preservation.com this is to bring the people who volunteer / Work or just enjoy heritage railways or just heritage in general together so they can share ideas, thoughts and raise awarenes of events and galas. And generally talk to like minded people. The company will be rasing funds by selling items online through a virtual online store and through Donations. All funds recieved will be put back into the costs of running the site and purchesing stock, any exess funds would be donated to a charatible cause chosen by the online community. It is a community run by volunteers for volunteers.
