(2696) Magion ( 1980 HB , 1951 SK , 1953 GC , 1978 TN 7 ) is about 25 kilometers in Asteroid of the inner main belt , which on 16 April 1980 by the Slovakian : (then Czechoslovakia ) astronomer Ladislav Brožek at Kleť Observatory on the Kleť near Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic ( IAU code 046).

designation

(2696) was prepared according to Magion Magion 1 , the first research satellite of Czechoslovakia , named. Magion 1 was launched in 1978 together with the Soviet Interkosmos 18 satellite .
