(43193) Secinaro is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on January 1, 2000 by the Italian astronomers Luciano Tesi and Andrea Boattini at the Osservatorio Astronomico della Montagna Pistoiese ( IAU code 104) on the Pian dei Termini plateau northeast of San Marcello Pistoiese in the Italian region of Tuscany was discovered.
The asteroid was named on December 15, 2005 after the municipality ( comune ) Secinaro in the province of L'Aquila .
