The Austrian Women's Football Cup was in the 1976/77 season under the name Women's World Cup , hosted by the Vienna Football Association, played for the fifth time. The trophy was won for the first time by FS Elektra Wien.

The following 7 (!!) teams, which are classified according to the season placement of the 1975/76 season, would have qualified for the Austrian women's soccer cup based on the participation of the league in the 1976/77 season . Teams that are marked as crossed out took part in the 1975/76 season, were not eligible to play in the championship that season and therefore did not play for the cup.
