The Austrian Women's Football Cup was in the 1990/91 season under the name ÖFB-Women's World Cup , hosted by the Vienna Football Association, played for the 18th time. Union Kleinmünchen won the cup for the first time.

Based on the participation of the leagues of the 1990/91 season, the following 14 (!!) teams, which are classified according to the season placement of the women's Bundesliga 1989/90 and the women's league East 1989/90 , would have qualified for the Austrian women's soccer cup . Teams that are marked as crossed out did not take part in the competition for various reasons or are second teams and therefore did not play for the cup. The national champions or representatives of the 1989/90 season could also take part.
