The Austrian Women's Football Cup was in the 1986/87 season under the name ÖFB-Women's World Cup , hosted by the Vienna Football Association, played for the 15th time. USC Landhaus won the trophy for the sixth time.

The following 12 (!!) teams, which are classified according to the season placement of the women's Bundesliga 1985/86 and the women's league East 1985/86 , would have qualified for the Austrian women's soccer cup based on the participation of the leagues in the 1986/87 season .
