The Austrian Women's Football Championship 1986/87 was the 15th championship in Austrian women's football after the 35-year break between 1938 and 1972. It consisted of the 18th edition of a top division ( women's Bundesliga ) and was organized by the Austrian Football Association . The seventh edition of a second highest division ( women's league east ) was organized by the Vienna Football Association.

Season course

As in the previous year, the league consisted of eight clubs, although the same eight teams competed. The team of the DSC Austria Brunn integrated into the SC Brunn am Gebirge . The 1st DFC Leoben won its second title with it.

    Season course

    The league was composed of six clubs compared to the previous year, in which five clubs participated. The FK Leopoldau was not represented, but but the DFC Oberdorf and the SC Stetteldorf . This season, DFC Heidenreichstein won the championship , which, in contrast to the previous championship, is entitled to play in the top division next season.
