Second performance level
The 2nd league represents the second highest performance group in Austrian women's football. In order to reduce the costs for the clubs, it is divided into four regional groups: 2nd league middle, 2nd division east, 2nd league south and 2nd league west, the latter did not take part in the relegation games.
The second performance level consisted of four leagues, separated by region:
- 2nd league center with the clubs from Upper Austria ( OFV ) and Salzburg ( SFV ),
- 2nd Division East with the clubs from Lower Austria ( NÖFV ) and Vienna ( WFV ),
- 2. League South with the clubs from Burgenland ( BFV ), Carinthia ( KFV ) and Styria ( StFV ) and
- 2. League West with the clubs from Tyrol ( TFV ) and Vorarlberg ( VFV ).
The general mode provides that the champions of the leagues could play in a relegation for promotion to the ÖFB women's league. The bottom of the table in each league was relegated.
2nd division middle
mode
The league consisted of ten clubs that played against each other twice in two rounds (autumn and spring).
