    Second performance level

The second level is played in two regional groups: 2nd Division East and Regionalliga West.

The second performance level consisted of two leagues, separated by region:

    • 2. Division East with the clubs from Lower Austria ( NÖFV ) and Vienna ( WFV ) and
    • Regionalliga West with the clubs from Tyrol ( TFV ) and Vorarlberg ( VFV ).

    2nd Division East

    mode

Everyone played against everyone twice in 16 rounds. A win was rewarded with three points, a draw with one point.

    Season course

The league was composed of ten teams compared to the previous year, in which eight clubs participated. Compared to last year, the relegated clubs SC Neunkirchen and First Vienna FC 1894 as well as SV Neulengbach were newly represented in this championship instead of DFC Pellendorf . Everyone played against everyone twice in 18 rounds. A win was rewarded with three points, a draw with one point. Since SC Neunkirchen was eliminated during the season, all subsequent games were rated with a defeat and goal difference of 0: 0. Since the B-team from the USC Landhaus competed outside of the competition, those encounters were not taken into account in the overall table, which means that the nine teams that played for the promotion place completed 18 rounds, but only 16 rounds were counted for the championship. This season, SV Neulengbach won the championship of the 2nd Division East , which means it will be represented in the top division of Austrian women's football after just one year.
